Department of Chemistry’s measures regarding the novel coronavirus

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus and maintain a safe working environment for everyone studying and doing research on our campuses, the Department of Chemistry has decided on the followings:

Regarding classes at the Department of Chemistry
[Undergraduate Course]
For 3rd year Students:
 Lectures will be started from May 7th (Thu), and will be held according to the Class Schedule (on the highlighted dates). Note that Wednesday classes will be conducted instead of Thursday classes on May 7th (Thu).
 S-semester lectures may be carried out online. Details and instructions will be posted on this webpage.
 Laboratory works will be carried out according to the same class schedule.

For 4th year Students:
 Lectures will be started from May 7th (Thu), and will be held according to the Class Schedule (on the highlighted dates). Note that Wednesday classes will be conducted instead of Thursday classes on May 7th (Thu).
 S-semester lectures may be carried out online. Details and instructions will be posted on this webpage.
 Graduation thesis research in the laboratory should be carried out with all necessary precautions under the supervising professors’ instructions.

[Master’s/Doctorate Course]
– Lectures will be started from April 17th (Thu), and will be carried out online. Details and instructions will be posted on this webpage.
– Research activities in the laboratory should be carried out with all necessary precautions under the supervising professors’ instructions.

New Student Orientation Sessions

For 3rd year Students:
– The guidance will be held in small groups on April 2nd. Schedule and more detailed information will be posted on this webpage.

[Master’s/Doctorate Course]
– The guidance scheduled on April 2nd is cancelled.
– Schedule and venue for the distribution of student IDs and other guidance materials will be posted on this webpage.
