Cancellation of Degree Awarding Ceremony and Procedure of Degree Awarding<\/p>\n

Important Message to Graduating Graduate-Course Students of Department of Chemistry,<\/p>\n

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, the School of Science has decided to cancel the degree awarding ceremony for the doctor\u2019scourse graduating students, scheduled to be held on Friday, September 18th and the degree awarding ceremonies for the master\u2019s course graduating students at the respective departments, scheduled to be held on the same day.<\/p>\n

Department of Chemistry has therefore decided to present the diplomas to the graduating students in the following manner:<\/p>\n

1. Graduating students belonging to the laboratories on the Hongo Campus will receive their diplomasfrom their thesis supervisors.<\/p>\n

2. Graduating students belonging to the laboratories on the Komaba Campus and those belonging to the laboratories on the Kashiwa Campuswill receive their diplomas atthe Chemistry Department Office.
\n\u3000Because the diplomas will not re-issuedin principle, they will be given to you directly at the Chemistry Department Office and will not besent to you by the on-campus mail service.<\/p>\n

* According to the restriction request from the university, your parents and other family members cannot enterthe university campus on this occasion.<\/p>\n
