The University of Tokyo’s Central Bureau for Information and Communication Systems Administration will begin offering the UTokyo Account Identity Confirmation Service, which allows users to use their My Number Card to confirm their identity in situations such as when they have lost their UTokyo Account password or when multi-factor authentication is no longer working properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u30fbWhen you fail to sign in to your UTokyo Account and want to reset it (e.g., when you have forgotten your password or need to reconfigure multi-factor authentication).
\u30fbWhen you need to retrieve cloud data after leaving the university (due to graduation, resignation, etc.) that you forgot to back up beforehand (i.e., when using the cloud data salvage service).
\u30fbWhen joining alumni services after graduation. (This service is currently under preparation as of September 2025)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior linkage procedures are required to use the system. We urge you to complete the procedures in advance in preparation for any problems that may arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
