Recently, there has been a surge in suspicious phone calls from people claiming to be from the
police or the Chinese Embassy, demanding money.
The scammers are cleverly demanding money by telling you the following over the phone:
“The account or cell phone in your name is being used for a crime. \u201d
\u201cThere is a warrant for your arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They try to make you feel uneasy with such words and try to cheat you out of a large sum of
money.
If you receive such a call, hang up the phone immediately. And please do not worry alone, but
consult with your family, a trusted friend, or the police.
